NCT member Mark has suddenly been embroiled in controversy.
On October 5, the YouTube channel "STUDIO CHOOM [STUDIO DANCE]" released a behind-the-scenes video with NCT 127.

In the video, Mark and Haechan were practicing the choreography for "2 Baddies." While they were practicing, Mark suddenly forgot a part of the choreography. He is then seen raising his finger, turning his back to the camera, and disappearing.
After the video was posted online, internet users claimed that Mark was showing his middle finger. People claimed the NCT member "cursed with his fingers."

Others who analyzed the video claimed otherwise, however. Some believe Mark was actually crossing his fingers, a gesture used for good luck in the West. People believe that since he is using both his index and middle finger, then he is not swearing with the latter finger.

After the controversy came out, Studio Choom quickly deleted the scene in the video and replaced it with a new one.

NCT 127 held a sold-out concert at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on October 6, in line with the North American Leg of "Neo City - The Link." NCT 127 then performed another sold-out show at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on October 13.

On October 22 and 23, NCT 127 performed a two-day special concert at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. The two-day show was titled "Neo City: Seoul - The Link+", and featured a new setlist that includes the songs from their fourth full-length album "2 Baddies."

NCT 127 is also set to hold a two-day concert at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia on November 4 and 5. They will also perform at the IMPACT Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on December 3, 4 and 5.
