BIGBANG Taeyang Making Comeback? Speculation Emerges Following His SNS Activity

On Oct. 26, one netizen started a discussion about BIGBANG member Taeyang on the online community Nate Pann. They created  post, titled "What's Up With Taeyang's Insta???"

In addition to uploading a screenshot of Taeyang's Instagram profile, the netizen wrote, "Why did he suddenly remove all his posts and profile picture??"

Upon checking the idol's IG profile, it is true that all of his posts are gone and that he changed his profile photo to a black image. It is uncertain, however, whether he deleted the posts or he just archived them.

In the comments section, one netizen shared the picture below and said, "Usually, it's the darkest before sunrise (T/N: sun = taeyang)... Is this a comeback?? What does he mean by 'Renewal'?"

While the picture below shows the word "Renewal" on his IG bio, it is no longer found on Taeyang's Instagram profile, which could mean that he deleted it.

When a musical artist deletes or archives their IG posts, one of the common reasons is that they will release a new song or a new album soon. Because of this idea, VIPs (BIGBANG's fans) can't help but think that Taeyang might be making a comeback soon.

It has been more than five years since Taeyang dropped an album. His latest release is his third studio album "White Night,' which came out on Aug. 16, 2017. This album features the double title tracks "Darling" and "Wake Me Up."

"Darling" entered the top 10 on the Circle Digital chart, while "Wake Me Up" landed in the top 5 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart. Additionally, "White Night" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's World Albums chart and spent two weeks atop of the tally.

Taeyang hasn't been so active in the entertainment industry these days as he may be focusing on taking care of his wife and their child.
