BLACKPINK Rosé Hailed As #1 'Queen of K-pop 2022'

On November 1, the "K-pop Queen" this 2022 is finally revealed!

The popular polling website, KingChoice, opened a new poll last October under the theme, "Queens of K-pop 2022."

The voting was held until October 31st, which finished with a total of 453,819 votes from K-pop fans who supported their respective biases.

Among the 30 nominees, BLACKPINK Rosé reigned as the No. 1 "Queen of K-pop," amassing 133,411 votes.

Indeed, Rosé is a "Queen" among female idols! Belonging to the "biggest girl group in the world" BLACKPINK, the global superstar also possesses one of the best voices in the music scene, making her the group's main vocalist.

As she gained more recognition for her singing skills, she also debuted as a solo artist and achieved numerous feats even alone, thanks to her unique tone and vocal color.

On top of being a "Queen" in the K-pop industry, she's also a royalty in the field of fashion and is currently receiving positive reviews for her model-like body and posture, not to mention her personality, fitting to be luxury brand Yves Saint Laurent global ambassador.

Following Rosé, Red Velvet Irene, who earned 129,144, votes secured her spot in No. 2.

Aside from being the main visual of the group, Irene is also acknowledged as one of the most beautiful K-pop idol.

But her face is not the only factor why people love her! Due to her skills and good leadership, ReVeluvs and more admire the "Happiness" singer.

The 3rd spot went to BLACKPINK Jisoo, who garnered 80,108 votes.

In July 2022, Jisoo was named the "Most Beautiful Woman in the World." While the female idol is loved for her goddess-like beauty, she is also recognized for her singing and acting skills, her improved dancing as well as her well-rounded personality.

Tzuyu was also hailed as one of the most beautiful faces around the world in 2019. She snagged the 10th spot as "K-pop Queen" of the year.
