Back in November of 2021, ITZY member Lia's past romantic relationships were given attention after reports of her and Show Me The Money rapper BE'O, whose real name is Kim Chanwook, allegedly having dated during their high school days surfaced online.

The reports of their alleged romantic relationship came after a post entitled "BE'O and Lia used to date? There was even a ring" was shared on the online community forum Nate Pann 

In this post, a netizen shared several photos of the ITZY member and rapper sitting together in a plane while they smile and pose cutely in front of the camera. According to reports, these photos were taken when the two were still in high school.

Aside from the two being spotted together, netizens also noticed that the Lia and BE'O were wearing silver rings on their fourth finger, leading many to believe that these were their couple rings and thus sparking dating rumors.

Not only that, but attention was also drawn to BE'O's appearance in a past broadcast with rappers San E, Malkey, and Errday on the Youtube channel McRap McNugget TV.

During BE'O's appearance, the channel's host McRap asked the rapper if he had a girlfriend and wanted to learn more about his dating life. Although BE'O didn't share if he was in a relationship at the time, McRap had made a comment that caught netizens' attention.

McRap had said, "How will you be able to date anyone else after dating that person?"

San E also revealed that BE'O had written a lot of love songs about his ex-girlfriend. The other rappers also revealed that BE'O's ex-girlfriend, who he went to the same high school with, is now a member of a famous girl group. They commented how his ex-girlfriend's appearance was also on the level of actress Ko So Young's.

Did Lia Actually Date BE'O?

Unfortunately, the relationship between Lia and BE'O remain a mystery, as neither of their respective agencies commented on the matter. Thus, Lia having dated BE'O is just a speculation as of this moment.

Although nothing has been confirmed, it is worth noting that Lia attended the famous School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA), in which BE'O also attended at and was even in the same class as Lia.
