Former T-Ara Jiyeon Reveals Causes of Her Daily Stress and Pain: Is Her Upcoming Wedding in The List?

Jiyeon, a former T-ara member, recently claimed that she is under a lot of stress and experiencing pain, amid preparations for her upcoming wedding to baseball star Hwang Jae-gyun.

In a YouTube interview per Nate, the K-pop star admitted that she is often weary after eating and does not always feel her best. While stretching her arms and body, Jiyeon stated that she's experiencing "unexplained discomfort" and that her blood flow circulation felt poor.

"I'm under a lot of stress these days... I'm experiencing unpleasant symptoms in my body that I'm not sure what's causing."

However, it's not as if the bride-to-be isn't making better lifestyle modifications to accommodate the changing seasons.

Jiyeon stated that she should require herself to take proper care of her body in accordance with the season.

Aside from leading a healthy lifestyle, the 29-year-old Seoul native is also on medication to treat her ailment, which includes yo-yo anxieties, bowel difficulties, and gastrointestinal abnormalities.

"Because of stress and inconsistent eating habits, I always take digestive medication," the T-ara singer said.

Meanwhile, it appears that her stress and pain have nothing to do with her special day.

Jiyeon Returning to The Big Screen

Jiyeon made her debut with T-ara in 2009, becoming a member of one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. After nine years, the band went on indefinite pause to allow members to pursue separate careers.

In November 2021, they published their first independent album, "Re: T-ara," four years later.

However, Jiyeon is apparently returning to the big screen with a new film named "Gangnam Zombie," which will be released in theaters on November 30, KST.

Ji Il Joo and Jiyeon's character posters have been released for the film. They appear nervous on the poster as they strive to combat the zombies and live.

"Gangnam Zombie" is about a life-threatening incident in which zombies take over Seoul's Gangnam district, and Jiyeon will portray Munjung, a heroic woman who risks her life to survive the onslaught.

Fans were eager to observe the K-pop idol's acting transition after seeing cameos in the 2015 film "Encounter" and the 2011 film "Gisaeng Ryung."

Many others are also looking forward to seeing her on-screen chemistry with Ji Il Joo.
