BIBI's Sister in tripleS Sheds Tears After Receiving Phone Call From Her

On the Nov. 10 broadcast of the popular radio show "Idol Radio," tripleS's subunit AAA (Acid Angel from Asia) made a guest appearance.

For starters, tripleS is yet to make their official debut as a group. They are an upcoming 24-member girl group under MODHAUS. To date, nine members have already been revealed and two subunits were already created, such as Acid Angel from Asia and +(KR)ystal Eyes.

The forthcoming female act is planning to debut in 2023 and become the first idol group to combine the worlds of K-pop and NFT.

One of the tripleS members that's already revealed is Kim Nakyoung, who turned out to be a younger sister of female soloist BIBI, who is known for the two red dots under her eyes, her fun and free spirit, and songs like "Kazino," "Animal Farm," "NABI," and more.

During the radio broadcast, tripleS's AAA- which consists of four members namely Yooyeon, Nakyoung, Yubin, and Hyerin- did a lot of exciting covers, including (G)I-DLE's "Nxde" and Oh My Girl's "Remember Me." The girls also had a fun, quick photo shoot for the fans and performed their debut song "Generation."

Later on, during the interview portion of "Idol Radio," tripleS Nakyoung brought up her sister, soloist BIBI and how she was preparing her to become an idol, as she is already one. She also confessed that she missed her, as they both have busy schedules.

But, little did Nakyoung know that the radio show had a surprise for her. DJ Oh My Girl Seunghee said that there's a special call for her.

BIBI hopped on the line for a minute to congratulate her sister again on her debut and to tell her how proud she was. She also reminded her to take good care of her health and to make sure she eats enough every day.

This phone call made tripleS Nakyoung very emotional, which goes to show how delighted she was to hear her sister's voice.

tripleS Acid Angel from Asia (AAA) Debuts With First Mini-Album

In other news, Acid Angel from Asia (AAA) made their debut on Oct. 28 as tripleS' first subunit. They released their first mini-album titled "Acid Angel from Asia ."

The members- Yooyeon, Nakyoung, Yubin, and Hyerin- were chosen by fans through the Cosmo App. The voting started on Sept. 21 and ended on Sept. 25. Nakyoung was the first member of AAA to be revealed, followed by Hyerin, Yubin, and Yooyeon.

"Acid Angel from Asia " contains the title track "Generation" and five B-side songs. The physical version of the album was released on Nov. 7, and on that day, it sold a total of 11,221 copies, which is an impressive figure for a subunit and for an artist who is yet to debut in a group.

Since their debut, tripleS AAA had been appearing on Korean music shows, such as "Music Bank," "Music Core," and "Inkigayo," to perform "Generation."

Meanwhile, the music video for "Generation" has now surpassed 800,000 views on YouTube, just two weeks after it was uploaded.
