ITZY Ryujin & Chaeryeong Caught In Discord Rumor Due To Former's Eyes?
On November 19, a discord rumor between Ryujin and Chaeryeong, both members of the girl group ITZY, circulated in various Korean women's communities.
The reason ITZY Ryujin and Chaeryeong were suddenly accused of having bad blood between them was due to a video uploaded in September. At that time, ITZY revealed their cherished items through the YouTube channel, W KOREA.
In the video, Chaeryeong introduced ear acupuncture, saying:
"There is an acupoint in the ear. You attached the acupuncture (needle) to that spot. This is used to recover from fatigue, or attached to a spot to help relieve swelling."
Chaeryeong added:
"One thing that worked was that I ate something salty the day before and slept, but when I put this on and slept, it didn't swell the next day. After that, I started to believe in it blindly."

While sharing all of this information, Ryujin was sitting beside her and surprised viewers after noticing that she was glaring at the former and quickly looked up and down.
Ryujin's fierce eyes looking at Chaeryeong became a source of trouble, sparking rumors of their discord. Even though it only happened briefly, Ryujin's expression was not very bright which will definitely make someone she was looking at uncomfortable.
Due to this, some internet users belatedly expressed negative opinions, saying:
- "The other person's eyes are enough to make someone feel bad."
- "Ryujin's eyes were also controversial last time."
On the other hand, fans responded and defended Ryujin, saying:
- "It may just be Ryujin's habit."
- "Let's stop this witch-hunting."
- "I feel like she's just distracted. She surely didn't mean to stare at Chaeryeong like that."
In fact, Ryujin and Chaeryeong are classmates and both alumni of Hanlim Arts High School and the only ITZY born in 2001.
Due to this, they boast a strong relationship with each other and are in reality close to each other.
ITZY To Drop Much-Awaited Album In November
In other news, ITZY, the group to which Chaeryeong and Ryujin belong is set to release its new mini-album "CHESHIRE" on November 30, raising anticipation for a splendid comeback. This a new release in four months, following its fifth mini album, "CHECKMATE," which ranked 8th on the Billboard 200 chart in July.
The expectation is high if what kind of song will ITZY release this time, following "Sneakers" which drew attention to its Korean electronic dance genre.
On the same day of their comeback, ITZY will first host a countdown talk at 5 p.m. KST and afterward appear at the 2022 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA Awards) at 6 p.m. KST to provide fans with more attractions.
