BTS Jin Requests ARMYs NOT To Come To Training Center on His Enlistment Date

On November 24, BTS leader Jin left a message to fans amid reports of the exact date of his military enlistment.

In particular, the male idol took to Weverse to express disappointment over the reports about his enlistment and unveiled the request he wants from ARMYs, BTS fandom.

He wrote:

"There was an article that I didn't want to be published, to all ARMY, do not come to the boot camp center.

Many people besides me will come, so it could be dangerous because it's crowded.

ARMY, I love you."

As the specific training center location and the date was earlier revealed by the K-media, Jin who hinted at his frustration about the news, reminded the ARMY ahead of his enlistment to just not go to the center, showing concerns to both his huge fandom and people who will also come to enter the camp, along with their families.

Despite the stern and explicit request, he expressed love for his fandom by adding "I love you" to conclude his message.

As a response, fandom on social media sites such as Twitter agreed with the idol and reminded their co-ARMY as well to respect their idol's wish to have safe and quiet enlistment.

BTS Jin To Enlist At The Front-Line Unit As Active-Duty Soldier

According to the military and industry earlier in the morning of the same day, BTS Jin will be deployed at the front-line unit as an active-duty soldier after five weeks of training at a boot camp, the 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.

He will enlist on December 13, just nine days after his 30th birthday on December 4.

Earlier, Jin confirmed through Weverse that he will be at the front line when a fan asked:

"Oppa, are you excited for your birthday next month?"

Jin then replied:

"No, I will be on the front line."

Meanwhile, on October 17, BTS's agency HYBE announced that:

"BTS has begun concrete preparations to fulfill its military service obligations.

Other members will also perform military service sequentially according to their respective plans."

Jin, a member of the group BTS, will apply for the cancellation of the postponement of enlistment at the end of October 2022 and will follow the procedure related to enlistment by the Military Manpower Administration.

With this, it was confirmed that BTS will not be exempted from enlistment and all members will also do their required 18-month military service once they reached 30.

BTS Jin will take the lead as he was born in 1992, followed by Suga, born in 1993, RM and J-Hope, born in 1994, V and Jimin, born in 1995, and finally Jungkook, born in 1997. They are expected to join the military in turn.

Meanwhile, before going to the camp, Jin gifted his fans his first solo album "The Astronaut" on October 28.
