However, following the announcement of the Ten Asia Top Ten male K-pop artists this November 2022, Eris (or EXO-L) became furious despite EXO being atop the rankings. The reason is that the media outlet used an edited photo (see image below) of the boy group in their Twitter post.

In particular, the image of EXO that was used only features six members- D.O, Kai, Suho, Xiumin, Baekhyun, and Sehun. This made fans disappointed since the group is composed of nine members including Chen, Chanyeol, and Lay.

In the comments section, Eris shared the original photo (see picture below) that included Chanyeol and Chen. It can be seen that Chen was actually standing in the middle while Chanyeol is next to D.O.

Fans are questioning the media outlet for choosing the edited picture even if there are lots of EXO OT9 pictures on the internet. They are claiming that it's "disrespectful" and "unprofessional" to pick the six-member image.

As a result, fans are asking Ten Asia to delete the tweet and repost the announcement with the original photo of EXO. They also started trending the phrase "EXO IS NINE" to let everyone remember that the group has nine members.

As of this writing, the Twitter post is still up and the media outlet has not released a statement to address the matter.
