Chuu Hinted at Her Removal From LOONA? Idol's Remarks During Her Birthday Event Gain Attention

On Nov. 25, Blockberry Creative took to the official fan cafe of LOONA to announce that Chuu has been removed from the group because of her "violent language and misuse of power toward the company staff."

Later that same day, on that YouTube channel "Choerry Front," a video that was filmed during Chuu's birthday event in October was uploaded. On the 20th of last month, the female idol held a birthday event at the Small Theater Under the Cloud.

At the beginning of the video, she already appeared to be hinting at Blockberry Creative's announcement regarding her removal from LOONA.

Chuu said, "From now on, because of, well, some things that I can't control, sometime near the end of the year, due to something, when some news articles drop, and it might be surprising, you might be taken aback."

"As I keep working hard...," she continued before bursting into tears and receiving cheers from the audience. "I'm so so thankful and I'll keep working hard on my activities. I'm so grateful and I hope you keep loving me."

The former LOONA member further said, "I just hope that you know that I didn't set up this birthday party because of this, but this thing happened later, so I just wanted you to know that there's an additional issue, so I'd just be thankful if you just knew how grateful I feel."

Chuu finally said, "Thank you. But this thing today, please know that I'm only telling the fans here in advance, and again, to all the fans here, to everyone who made my birthday event shine today, thank you!"

The video of her giving these remarks immediately garnered hundreds of thousands of views. Just 15 hours since it was uploaded, it has already accumulated more than 350,000 views. And in the comments section, fans and netizens alike expressed their support of the female idol.

Chuu's Last Activities Prior to Her Removal From LOONA

Before she was removed from LOONA, Chuu participated in the girl group's comeback this past June with their special summer EP "Flip That." A total of six songs are included in the album, one of which is the title track of the same name.

"Flip That" is an energetic and addictive song featuring a UK House base and expresses determination to flip the world upside down.

With their special summer album, LOONA broke their first-week sales record on the Hanteo chart. They sold a total of 117,387 copies from June 20 to 26, surpassing their previous record of 76,293 copies set by their 2021 album "&."

Aside from taking part in the comeback, Chuu also released a remake of TWO TWO's "One and a Half," which was originally released in 1994. She also dropped a collaboration song, titled "Lullaby," with B.I.

Then, in October, she appeared on "Oh Eun Young's Golden Clinic" and held her birthday event.
