Boy Abunda asked, "How did you find out that you were chosen (as a trainee)?"

LAPILLUS Chanty answered, "I feel like I went there to show what I can do but I was actually already accepted. But they said that they will first give me one month to train, like a trial. They were like, 'If you want, you can train, or if we see some improvements in your performance or if we see that you have potential, you can sign a trainee contract'."

About how they auditioned for MLD Entertainment, LAPILLUS Seowon and Haeun shared that they were attending a dance academy, which was their way to audition for many companies including MLD Entertainment.

Finally, LAPILLUS Yue said that she initially did an online audition for MLD Entertainment before auditioning in person in Los Angeles. She passed the audition but she still wasn't sure if she wanted to be a regular trainee at the company so she also went for the one-month trial of training like Chanty and Shana.

However, she had visa problems while training so she returned to the United States and finished school instead. She later came back to Korea and resumed her training. She trained for around two years before her debut.
