BIGHIT MUSIC Asks ARMYs Not to Do THIS on BTS Jin's Military Enlistment Day

On Dec. 6, BIGHIT MUSIC took to Weverse to release further details regarding BTS Jin who will enlist in the military this month.

In their statement, the agency requested ARMYs not to visit the site where BTS Jin will enlist in order to prevent any issues from occurring because of overcrowding. They also announced that they will not hold any kind of official event on the day of his recruitment.

BIGHIT MUSIC also advised fans not to get influenced by buying unauthorized tours or product packages using artist IP without legal consent.

The label's full statement is as follows:

"Hello,

This is BIGHIT MUSIC.

We want to thank you for your consistent support of BTS and would like to update you on Jin's upcoming enlistment in the military.

Jin will complete his required time with the military by enlisting in the army. Please note that we will not host any kind of official event on the day of his recruitment.

The entrance ceremony is a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only. To prevent any issues that might happen from crowding, we ask fans to please refrain from visiting the site. Instead, we ask you to keep your heartwarming words of support and farewell in your hearts.

We also advise you not to get adversely affected by purchasing unauthorized tours and product packages illegally using artist IP. Our agency will take necessary action against any attempts at commercial activity making unauthorized use of such IP.

We ask for your continuous love and support of Jin until he fulfills his military service and returns. Our company will also strive to provide every support he needs during this time.

Thank you."

Previously, it was reported in late November that BTS Jin's military enlistment date is on Dec. 13. There, he will receive his basic training before he is deployed to the front-line military unit. In response to the reports, BIG HIT MUSIC commented that it is difficult to confirm.

BTS Jin's "The Astronaut" Enters Rolling Stone's "100 Best Songs of 2022"

In other news, BTS Jin's latest solo song "The Astronaut" made it to Rolling Stone's "100 Best Songs of 2022." It ranked No. 68 on the list.

Kristine Kwak wrote, "The lyrics capture how BTS makes their fans feel: 'When I'm with you/ There's no one else/ I get heaven to myself.' Fans will surely be listening to Jin's strong vocals and heartfelt message in 'The Astronaut' for years to come, especially while they miss Jin's presence as he completes his service."

"The Astronaut" is the title track of BTS Jin's single of the same name, which came out on Oct. 28. With this single album, Jin became the only third solo artist in Circle Chart history to record one million sales with one album, following EXO Baekhyun and Lim Young Woong. On Nov. 18, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that his sales had reached 1,024,382 copies.
