Rookies have been dominating the charts of K-pop this entire year, and we have our eyes on one boy group that’s been making waves even before their debut: OCJ NEWBIES!

NEWBIES is a group under the Hong Kong-based company One Cool Jasco Entertainment. If the name is any indication, it’s shaping up to be one cool group!

The group is poised to represent East Asia at large with members from Korea, China, Hong Kong, and beyond – we will even be witness to the first-ever male idol from Indonesia! NEWBIES is further slated to have sixteen or more members, with thirteen boys in the confirmed lineup. (With so many members, we’re preparing to have the hardest time choosing a bias.)

The boys of NEWBIES are already making history as the first boy group to ever appear in four major, global fashion magazines pre-debut! Members showed off their versatility and style in Cosmopolitan, ELLE MEN, Harper’s Bazaar, and Men’s Uno, in everything from youthful pastels to chic, dapper suits to timeless knitwears.

Members of NEWBIES aren’t all newbies to the K-pop stage! The group has past contestants from music competition shows like Produce X 101, LOUD, World Klass, We Are Young, and Stars Awakening. Their debut is long-awaited & even more hyped!
