In an interview with Billboard, released on Dec. 16, BUMZU shared a behind-the-scenes story of one of the hit songs by SEVENTEEN.

Notably, while working on that particular song, he avoided any outside distractions by locking himself in his room for two days and "just drinking coffee and reading music." He told himself that he won't leave his room until he finished "something good."

BUMZU stated that he knew this track would succeed during the process of its creation, and so he was already celebrating.

"Through that arduous process, I got to a point like, 'Oh, this is going to be a hit," the producer said. "Once that hit me, I was partying by myself; just screaming and going crazy."

BUMZU also told Billboard that for those two days that he was in his room, the only person he talked to was SEVENTEEN Woozi.

"He was on his own schedules but being updated on everything and how the process is going," he said. "Literally, he was the only one I spoke to during those 48 hours."

After two days, BUMZU finally finished what would become known as "VERY NICE," which served as the title song for SEVENTEEN's 2016 repackaged album "Love & Letter."

As the interview went on, the singer-songwriter told Billboard that SEVENTEEN members Woozi and S.Coups helped him finalize the lyrics for "VERY NICE," specifically the inclusion of the word "nice" as one of the keywords.

BUMZU said, "Once the lyric work started going, Woozi, S.Coups and I were all in a room and talking about how we wanted to incorporate 'nice' as one of the keywords."

He continued that S.Coups was the one who suggested the phrase "Very Nice," and from that, the lyrics "just started coming together."

The producer further explained that the idea of "nice" came from the same idea of "nice shot" in golfing. For instance, when someone has a good shot, someone would say, "Nice shot!" and that's where the 'nice' and 'very nice' developed from.

BUMZU concluded, "These days, I'm a maniac for golf but back then, I wasn't playing. But S.Coups pitched in wonderful ideas that helped in the creation of that song and to this day, it's been decorating SEVENTEEN's encore stages."

Since its release in 2016 until now, "VERY NICE" remains one of SEVENTEEN's hit songs and is still being performed at the end of the group's concerts.
