In a recent magazine interview, IVE discloses their feelings regarding their first daesang win. The group has been the center of attention, since they are one of the fastest girl groups to achieve a grand prize.

IVE Expresses The Daesang Victory's Impact On Their Group

On a recent photoshoot in Vogue Korea, IVE was featured in dark clothing, beaming with elegance with their charms and visuals. The group gained attention online for their charisma, leaving DIVEs breathless.

In the middle of the photoshoot, IVE shared their thoughts about winning their first daesang. They also expressed how they felt about the latest K-pop events which required them to perform and attend.

IVE Leader Ahn Yujin stated she finds it hard to believe, as time moves fast than she expected. With the host announcing IVE's group name, Yujin was taken aback by the sudden victory and them winning the daesang.

She added that accepting the award made her question her footing in the K-pop industry. Considering how big of an award it is, Yujin made herself ask if she was ready to get take her career head-on, as a member and a leader.

"When IVE's name was mentioned by the announcer, I initially believed it to be a dream and I didn't think it was realistic. Accepting the daesang together made me ask myself if I was ready to take the next step."

Furthermore, IVE Jang Wonyoung conveyed her own thoughts as well about their recent victory. Wonyoung stated she aims to find her own version of ultimate happiness. She declared how such idea can mean bringing joy and energy to people. However, in order to achieve that, Wonyoung thinks she herself must develop happy energy first.

"I'm pondering what true happiness entails. My duty is to spread joy and energy among others, so I believe that I must first be joyful myself."

IVE's Recent Landslide Victory, Establishing Their Solid Footing As Rookie Group

On November 30, IVE won their first daesang, 'Song Of The Year' Award in MAMA 2022. They have also won 'Favorite New Artist' Award in its Day 1. Their comeback hit  'LOVE DIVE' achieved 'Best Dance Performance' for Female Group category.   

Aside from their MAMA 2022 achievements, IVE won 'Best Song Of The Year' Daesang in MMA 2022. In the same event, the also attained the prize of 'New Artist of the Year' Award and 'Best Female Group.

IVE is one of the most successful groups in 4th generation K-pop. With the group's music and group chemistry, they will continue to form solid fanbases locally and internationally.
