TWICE Surprises ONCEs With All-English Single Release Announcement

On December 21, TWICE announced their plans on releasing a comeback, which consists of a full-on English track. The "Cheer Up" hitmakers revealed the comeback will be released in early January 2023, claiming their busy schedules ahead as a kickstarter for next year.

After their pre-release announcement, the post was followed by stating they will also release their 12th mini-album in March 2023.

TWICE's Activities Announcement Receives Love from ONCEs Around the World

ONCEs were overjoyed by the announcement, voicing out their thoughts online. However, one detail in the post caught their attention.

When TWICE posted the announcement, they placed a caption, saying, "First, 1/4 of 2023".

Fans couldn't help their curiosity on the caption, causing them to speculate if TWICE will make four comebacks next year.

"1/4 of 2023. Okay, so you'll gonna drop another surprise?"

"What does the caption mean? My brain can't function properly right now!"

"In the first quarter of 2023, TWICE will release a comeback, so every quarter something big will be announced. The way I had to calm myself to type this properly."

"Our Youth" Oh my god, what is this? I mean, I wonder what kind of new songs they will release this time. TWICE is indeed full of surprises."

Others claimed the rest of the numbers could mean a tour or a possible TWICE J-line sub-unit consisting of members Mina, Sana, and Momo.

"2nd English single? 12th Mini Album? 1/4 2023, first quarter of 2023? So, MISAMO, World Tour, Japanese album, and next full album? Bring it on!"

Some speculated on a TWICE world tour, after their album release.

"I bet we'll get another world tour announcement after this new single! Let's go!"
