BTS Jin Garners Attention Online For Recent Military Photos
On December 13, oldest BTS member Kim Seokjin enlisted in the 5th Infantry Recruit Training Center, Gyeonggi-do.
On the latest update about his enlistment, Korean media platform The Fact released a series of photos of Jin serving in the military. The photos showed Jin in his military uniform, alongside other soldiers.
Jin is featured to be carrying a set of chairs, helping his fellow soldiers and other military personnel in the field.

ARMYs were enthusiastic about the updates, seeing how well Jin is doing in the military. They also complimented his unwavering visuals, despite being covered up by his uniform.
Fans also stated Jin looks good with a uniform on, together with his beret being a perfect fit for his face.

Meanwhile, some mentioned how claims of Jin getting special treatment in the military, were proven false, according to recent updates.
"It's f**king funny how people are hating on Bangtan, while shielding other idols who received all privileges and royal treatment in the military."
"Seems like there are a bunch of furious ahjussis here because they were expecting Bangtan to get articles about getting preferential treatment in the military. But seeing these updates now proves that it's not the case."

Others expressed their frustration on the media, due to meddling with Jin's privacy.
"These people want BTS to enlist, because they think BTS should be treated the same as any other men. Yet they're the ones who can't treat them the same as others when they enlist, and leave them alone."
"Do these journalists or whatever have nothing better to do? Leave Jin alone!"

OT7 Forever: BTS Members Share Thoughts On Jin's Military Enlistment
While ARMYs are waiting for Jin to come back, BTS members also did the same. On Jin's day of enlistment, the members all supported their oldest hyung, taking pictures and wishing Jin good luck.
BTS leader RM once shared in an interview, that Jin also left a farewell message to the members. Likewise, he offered Jin some advice for his enlistment.
"When we arrived at the training center, he promised to give it his all. He stated, like the eldest, that he would go through everything first and report back to us on how his experience went."
"I advised him to look after himself and to return in good health. I also wished for him to finish his service responsibly and diligently, as I know he will."
