THIS Female Idol's Visuals Praised For 'Surviving' Korean Press' Unedited Photos
Among numerous K-pop idols who attended the YSL Beauty photo call event in Seoul on the 18th, THIS fourth-gen idol stood out for her legendary beauty that can't be ruined by the Korean media's notorious "unflattering" real-time photos.
aespa Karina Boasts Visuals at YSL Beauty Event
On January 18, aespa comprised of Karina, Giselle, Winter and NingNing attended a launching event for the luxury cosmetic brand Yves Saint Laurent beauty held at Lotte Department Store in Sogong-dong, Seoul.
The group then appeared in their black 'fits, in line with the event's theme. They held a photo-op with Korean media and fansites.
Their photos and fansite previews were then shared online through SNS and news platforms, in real-time.
As expected, aespa once again stole the spotlight with their beauty.
But among the four members, Karina particularly stood out!

Clad in her off-shoulder 'fit, Karina earned praises for her slender neckline and prominent collarbone line.
The "Next Level" singer also showed off her perfect "V-line" face when she appeared with her neatly-tied hair.
Aside from these, Karina's flawless features like her glass skin, as well as her neat eyebrows without blemishes, were also highly lauded.

People praised Karina's CG-Like beauty, reminiscent of a real-life Disney Princess, due to her famous "quail egg" face, round eyes, rosy lips, and tall nose bridge.
On top of all of these, what amazed fans the most was Karina's visuals in unedited photos released by the Korean press.
In context, some aren't really fond of South Korean press photographers as they usually release real-time photos of idols or celebrities without it undergoing post-processing or putting filters.
Although this is a good chance to flaunt a star's beauty with pores and natural color, some personalities weren't able to survive "unflattering" photos, such as those who were captured with uneven makeup due to the flash, oily face, among others.
But Karina's unrealistic beauty really can't be humiliated even in her unedited snippets.
Some even stated that her press photos are even better than fansite edits!

- "Wow, she's a real goddess. How perfect is this woman it feels like she was created by AI."

Meanwhile, Karina, born in 2000 and 24 years old this year, is also active in SM Entertainment's project girl group Got the Beat, along with her co-member Winter.
