ITZY Ryujin Draws Laughter For Her Mood in Front of Fanboys vs Female MIDZYs

In online communities, ITZY Ryujin has been drawing laughter from K-pop fans for the hilarious difference between her mood when meeting fanboys vs fangirls.

ITZY Ryujin's 20-second Fan-Edit Clip Makes MIDZYs Laugh For THIS Reason

In various Korean web communities and social media platforms, a 20-second video edited by a fan, originally posted on TikTok, has been drawing attention for showing the hilarious and supposed difference between Ryujin's mood in front of male vs. female MIDZYs.

In the edited video, it was seen that Ryujin was interacting with her male fans and it was implied that she looked somewhat uninterested and bored.

However, once she started interacting with her female fans, Ryujin would beam at them and it felt like she was enjoying their conversation with them, even trying to make physical contact despite the large glass separating them.

As soon as the post was shared on Twitter, the video immediately earned 1.5 million views, with over 7.8k quoted retweets, 36.4 retweets and 74k likes.

The video eventually became a meme among female fans, claiming that ITZY Ryujin represents their mood as well when interacting with male and female friends.

  • "This is so me."
  • "This is literally me when I saw girls."
  • "She's just like me."

Later on, the original TikTok edit was taken down after it received massive backlash, calling the idol "unprofessional."

Although it was edited and posted intended for fun, some apparently misunderstood the video and generated criticism to Ryujin for discriminating against male fans.

With this, MIDZYs revealed a 30-minute clip posted in July last year from which the edited video was taken from. It showed then that Ryujin during the fan meet was sincerely and equally communicating with fans regardless the age and gender.

May it be men or women, Ryujin would play with them, do cute acts, listen to their stories intently and interact with them professionally, contrary to other netters' claims.
