NMIXX Reveals Official Lightstick Design, Exciting Many NSWERs

On February 20, NMIXX has finally revealed their official lightstick, giving their fandom NSWERs an iconic K-pop merchandise!

In their official Twitter, NMIXX announced that the sales for the item is now open. They have also posted details about the pre-order link, which is valuable for fans who want to order the lightstick in advance.

The lightstick's design consisted of an all-white handle, which adds the signature sphere-shaped globe. For its highlight, the sphere contained what appears to be a whale swimming in the middle.

The whale is also seen with a water spout, spewing from its blowhole. Its design also captured NMIXX's simplicity and sophisticated concept!

NSWERs were amazed with the lightstick's design, labelling it as pretty. They also praised its inventiveness, due to the whale blowing out the water out and forming the sphere.

Others also wished for moody lights on the item. The lightstick was so applauded, it also made non-fans of NMIXX want to buy it as well!

MIXX POP: NMIXX's Concept Explained

In other news, NMIXX's concept caught attention online. On February 24, 2022, Korean media outlet E-Daily explained that "MIXX POP" is now being presented, which tackles different genres in one song.

NMIXX debuted with "O.O," a song which caught mixed reactions from both fans and critics alike, due to its switch-up style. In just one song, listeners are offered 2 genres and 3 concepts. The song begins by traversing through Baile Punk genre, which involved NMIXX singing alongside trap beats on a foggy setting.

The girl group then changes to a darker tone, which embodied the Teenage Pop Rock genre. Afterwards, the group is thrown into a colorful setting, where they freely explored a vibrant utopia. Lastly, the song then returned to the Baile Punk genre.

With the song's attempt to deliver explosive feelings, its success is not without its criticisms. Upon first listen, most netizens considered the song confusing. However, some fans insisted that "O.O" is tolerable after a couple of listens.

"It's unfamiliar at first, but it's addictive when you listen to it."
