On March 15, SM Entertainment announced the launch of its new project related to "SM 3.0"!

According to MBC, the company earlier signed a business agreement with Sejong Law Firm, which will accelerate the implementation of SM 3.0, the newly adapted system by the entertainment agency under the baton of CEOs Lee Sung Soo and Tak Young Joon.

This partnership will open a project called, "KWANGYA 119," which is a website dedicated to protecting SM Entertainment artists. In particular, the platform will launch a reporting function where netters especially fans can help on collecting evidence of the artists being slandered, suffering from defamation, or malicious comments by sharing proof of the illegal activities.

"KWANGYA 119" will basically serve as a "tip-off" site to support and accelerate the legal actions that must be taken against haters and malicious comments, headed by Sejong law firm.

SM Entertainment explained:

"(SM Entertainment) will take responsibility for all forms of illegal activities such as synthesizing the artist's portrait without permission, as well as spreading false information, malicious slander, abusive language, sexual harassment, and invasion of privacy against our artists.

We decided to respond immediately and strongly to all forms of illegal activities such as editing and producing content without permission."

"KWANGYA 119" will be opened in Korea, but it will also be available for international fans to respond to all illegal activities related to their artists without any leniency or agreement, by using all possible means.

What Is 'SM 3.0'? All About New Company's System

Meanwhile, "KWANGYA 119" is only one of the projects under the newly introduced system, "SM 3.0."

After being acquired by Kakao following HYBE's withdrawal from the battle to cooperate with the former instead, SM Entertainment led by Lee Sung Soo and Tak Young Joon will proceed with "SM 3.0."

This new era will eradicate founder Lee Soo Man's monopoly production system and will focus on four major growth instead, including global music publishing, label acquisition, fandom economy business, and metaverse based on high-quality IP, which is the essence of SM's entertainment industry.

Some of its biggest goals were to debut 1 virtual artist (Naevis) this year along with four new groups. Each artist will have more comeback (group or solo) each year as well, to reach their quota of 41 albums annually.

Among them, aespa and SHINee will have their comeback this May, while EXO will reunite as a whole this spring. SuperM is also expected to return in April, along with naevis debut as a solo virtual artist.
