Lotte Duty Free Concert Encourages Foreign Tourists

Lotte Duty Free has become synonymous with the event. According to the report, the previous physical concerts drew one million Koreans and international guests, while online equivalents held during the height of the pandemic drew three million views.

Customers who spend a certain amount or more at Lotte Duty-Free will receive concert tickets.

Customers who spend USD 300 / USD 500 / USD 900 or more at Lotte Duty-Free's flagship store in Myeong-dong, its World Tower, Incheon International Airport, and online stores will be given complimentary tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meanwhile, extra ticket giveaway events for domestic and foreign customers are held through various Lotte Duty-Free channels.

Lotte Duty Free also works with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Visit Korea Committee, and the Korea Tourism Organization to attract foreign tourists.

Joo Nam Kim, CEO of Lotte Duty Free Shop, affirms that the family concert will be held again for global customers. It aims for the audience to enjoy the recovery times after the pandemic.

The retailer is planning a tour package in collaboration with domestic and international local travel agencies to encourage group tourists from Japan, China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East to visit Korea and see the concert.

"As this family concert will return after the pandemic has been declared endemic, I hope it will be an occasion for global customers to celebrate the return to their everyday lives. As we strive to attract foreign tourists, Lotte Duty Free will continue to present various content contributing to K-culture's globalisation. We will do our best to attract foreign tourists. "

This year's three-day concert marks the 32nd event. The 30th and 31st versions were held virtually due to the pandemic.
