BLINKs Slam Organizer for Disposing BLACKPINK Lisa's Birthday Banners in Concert
During one of BLACKPINK's concerts in Manila, BLINKs have criticized its organizer for throwing away the birthday banners made for BLACKPINK Lisa.
Here's what fans are saying.
BLINKs Slam Concert Organizer for Tossing Away Lisa's Birthday Banners
On March 25 and 26, BLACKPINK ventured for their two-night concert in Manila, where BLINKs were given an opportunity to see the "BOOMBAYAH" hitmakers live.
The concert was filled with excitement due to BLACKPINK's energetic performances, fan interactions, and many key moments that made the concerts unforgettable.
BLINKs even prepared a beautifully designed birthday cake for Lisa, when they pre-celebrated her special day on March 27.
However, things took a sudden turn on the concert's second day. According to BLINKs in Twitter, their small yellow banners captioned with "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LALISA" were confiscated and disposed of.
They also expressed frustration because even unofficial banners were allowed on Day 1, but somehow changed in Day 2.

They have this clear instructions to confiscate the YELLOW BANNERS. Like it’s their priority to make sure that no yellow banners can get inside. What’s the real reason? #LIVENATIONPHBASTOS

On a list of prohibited items, the statement enumerated that banners bigger than the size of A4, flags, and confetti were not allowed inside the venue.
BLINKs questioned organizer Live Nation PH why the banners were suddenly banned despite them following guidelines.
Ours are not bigger than size A4 and how’s it allowed on D1 and not on D2, on Lisa’s birthday? Or you could’ve put them somewhere else better than treating them like trash! It has HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA on it, how can you be so shameful?#LIVENATIONPHBASTOS

How does #LISA’s birthday banners break the rules ? @BLACKPINK_PH @livenationph? There was no reasonable and legitimate ground for confiscation and throwing away the prized banners made by fans hard earned money and love ruthlessly #LIVENATIONPHBASTOS

Additionally, BLINKs pointed out Live Nation PH's inattentiveness with fans' money. They elaborated that they could've avoided wasting the banners if a prior announcement was made.
BLINKs also recounted the staff's disrespectful responses when they asked about the confiscation.
See their reactions below:
how could you confiscate & just throw those harmless birthday banners like a piece of trash when that is made from our money & hardwork. that’s so rude to lisa & her fans who watched & paid the concert! @livenationph #LIVENATIONPHBASTOS

You didn’t even consider that it’s for Lisa’s bday and the amount of money and effort fans put into this. The way you just laughed at us while confiscating our banners. This has never happened before in any Kpop concerts. So evil. #LIVENATIONPHBASTOS
