This first-generation K-pop idol narrated how her supposedly trip to Thailand to film a music video almost made her join the Thai Royal family after receiving a proposal to marry a prince!

S.E.S Bada Narrates How She Received Marriage Proposal From Thai Royal Family

In MBC's entertainment show "Radio Star," which aired on April 5, "K-pop Fairy" S.E.S Bada appeared to update on the second act of her life 26 years after she debuted.

During the broadcast, she talked about her plan of doing a concert to celebrate her debut anniversary and commemorate her friendship with her co-S.E.S members, especially Eugene.

Bada also discussed her happy marriage and her daughter, emphasizing that her child is her "mini-me" who also loves fashion and the stage.

Although she's obviously satisfied with her current life, Bada shocked the viewers when she revealed that she almost got married to a prince during an overseas trip.

The "Be Natural" singer narrated:

"I went to Phi Phi Island (in Thailand) when I was active as S.E.S. I was then filming on a big boat, but suddenly a bigger yacht approached us right in front of our boat, so the filming was stopped."

She continued that a woman wearing large jewelry made up of ruby and sapphire on all her ten fingers got off the yacht and told them that she came from the East, but she was actually a Korean married to a Thai aristocrat.

Little did they know, she was actually sent to convince Bada to join the Thai royal family!

But Bada, who didn't know this, was confused when the woman introduced herself as the owner of the boat and suddenly started looking for the idol. The aristocrat lady then told her to get on the yacht, which she did.

Once inside, the woman put out a picture of a boy, who turned out to be the Thai prince. It was at this moment that Bada realized that she was receiving a marriage proposal from the royal family!

S.E.S Bada Reveals Reasons She Refused To Marry Thai Prince

Bada stated:

"The royal family said that they liked my physiognomy, and (proposed) to me to become the second queen. If I get married (to the prince), they said that I could live up longer till my 100s."

She also has to become a native and asked for her parent's number.

Bada respectfully responded that she would talk to them in person, but she eventually refused after it was revealed that she was "not his first wife."

Also, Bada earlier expressed love for her group, telling Lee Soo Man that she didn't regret refusing for the sake of S.E.S.

Nevertheless, it was still surprising! Who can tell if this scene that usually happens in drama can actually happen in real life?

Meanwhile, despite the over-the-top marriage proposal, the 43-year-old "fairy" only agreed to tie the knot with her current non-showbiz husband in 2017. Little information is known about him, aside from the fact that he's 10 years younger than him and is working in the food industry.

In 2020, the couple was blessed with a baby daughter, who will turn three years old this year.
