According to Gangseo University's announcement on April 2, Sunye will be responsible for special lectures and lessons for students in the Department of Applied Music.

This new position marks a significant shift in her career, as she transitions from a renowned K-pop idol to an educator, sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience with aspiring musicians.

Born in 1989, Sunye initially gained recognition as the leader and main vocalist of the South Korean idol group Wonder Girls. The band rapidly ascended to the top of the Korean girl group scene after they debuted in 2007.

They released popular tracks such as "Tell Me," "Nobody," and "So Hot."
