In an interview, Dawn confessed his true feelings to HyunA after breaking up. Along with this, he personally addressed reunion and marriage rumors circulating them.

Dawn Confesses He Still Has Feelings For HyunA But Denies They Reunited As Couple

Although Dawn admitted he's still in love with his ex-girlfriend HyunA, the male idol also drew the line by saying they didn't get back together after breaking up last year.

On April 14, the YouTube channel 1theK Originals posted a new video of singer Dawn where he personally clarified various rumors about him and his ex-girlfriend HyunA.

Among speculations circulating them, one of the hottest is the claim that they got back together due to their unwavering affection for each other, such as supporting each other on Instagram even after parting ways.

However, Dawn explained his current relationship with the female star, saying:

"We support each other no matter what choice we make because we understand each other the best in the world.

At that time and even now, I respect her choice and supported her by pressing 'Like' (on Instagram)."

Regarding why he doesn't delete their couple photos on Instagram yet, Dawn expressed no intention to delete them after the breakup, highlighting that it's not a bad memory and he wants to treat his SNS like a diary.

As the conversation went on, Dawn confirmed that even after not being together anymore, his love for HyunA didn't fade out.

"I'm the same. It's not important whether I break up with HyunA or date her again, I just love the person 'HyunA.' Later, even if we take different paths and end up with different people, I think I will probably still be in love with HyunA."

Dawn Clarifies Marriage Proposal To HyunA

In the same interview, Dawn also corrected the misunderstanding that he gave HyunA a ring with the intention of marrying her (immediately). The "Stupid Cool" singer clarified that although he considering marrying HyunA in the future, he gave her a ring just to show her how much he loves her.

"It wasn't true that I proposed with the intention of getting married. I just like her so much that I naturally thought, 'I should do it with this friend' if I get married later, but at that time, I just wanted to give her a ring."

He continued:

"It is natural common sense to get married if you give a ring, but I have no common sense."

As to why he didn't address the marriage rumor sooner, Dawn stated that he initially thought he was going to get married later, thus, it doesn't make sense to say he doesn't have the intention to tie the knot.

Meanwhile, HyunA and Dawn were loved as a representative star couple after admitting their romantic relationship in 2016.

Unfortunately, the former lover broke up in November 2022.
