On April 15, the Day 2 of 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was held, inviting many worldwide artists to perform live.

Coachella is one of the most highly anticipated music events, which is evident by the number of fans it attracts due to the huge amount of its artist lineup.In the roster, BLACKPINK was listed to headline the event, and is notably the first-ever K-pop artist in history to do so.

The "Kill This Love" singers electrified the audiences with their instant hits such as "PINK VENOM," "HOW YOU LIKE THAT," and many more.

It was a historic night for the girls, since they gave their all in performing for fans. However, Coachella 2023 also caught attention for a different reason.

During the event, stans spotted BTS's maknae Jungkook in the crowd. Fans went haywire with the maknae's unexpected appearance and expressed their surprise.

Some suspected if Jungkook went to the event to watch BLACKPINK, and through "receipts," fans relayed video clips to prove his presence duration during BLACKPINK's segment.

Insiders claim that Jungkook's viewing of BLACKPINK was backed up by the BI-Ping-Bong lightsticks held by the audience, and was seen around 9:14, which is the starting time of BLACKPINK's performance.

This led them to speculate that Jungkook had seen half of BLACKPINK's setlist, before leaving to watch The Kid LAROI.

However, not all agreed with the speculations. Some ARMYs claimed that Jungkook didn't appear in BLACKPINK's performance and has only prepared for The Kid LAROI's stage. According to netizens, The Kid LAROI's performance was scheduled for 10:20 p.m.

On the livestream for Coachella 2023, keen-eyed ARMYs were quick to notice Jungkook's appearance, showing him enjoying The Kid LAROI's stage and sporting a new wavy hairstyle. Afterwards, Jungkook shared how amazed he was with ARMYs to spot him despite his new styling.

Jungkook remarked:

"I was going to keep it lowkey at Coachella, but everyone found out fast anyway. You're all incredible ARMYs, thank you and I love you. I just cut my bangs, so how did you even recognize me?"

Fans commented online:

Meanwhile, some were tired of the ongoing debate if Jungkook attended BLACKPINK's stage or not. They wished someone to have a frontal camera shot of Jungkook's face to confirm and end the debate.

"I wish someone shoot video from in front of him to end the debate. Real clear shot of him. I can only read 'she said,' 'he said.' I am not there, and I am really curious."
