While "Super Show 9" was filled with memories of ELF and Super Junior, the fandom was heartbroken after seeing this idol at the group's concert.

Super Junior Wraps Up Encore Concert 'Super Show 9' In Seoul

Super Junior showed off their power as "Hallyu Kings after a successful encore concert!

On April 15 and 16, Super Junior completed its encore stage, "Super Junior World Tour - Super Show 9: Road_Show" held at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The second day was also broadcast online around the world through the live streaming platform, Beyond LIVE.

On this day, the members delivered stages of their group hits as well as their solo songs. In fact, unreleased tracks were even performed during the ballad section for both days. Among the main highlights of the two-day event was the appearance of Zhoumi, a member of Super Junior - M, a unit based in China, since 2008.

Finally, Super Junior spent precious time thanks to fans for more than a year hosting "Super Show 9: Road."

"Thank you for giving us happiness. We will continue to walk silently while looking at the members and fans. The end can be seen as the beginning of 'Super Show 10'. Please take care of your health and wait for us."

Meanwhile, "Super Show 9: Road_Show" is an encore concert of "Super Show 9: Road" held in 14 cities in Asia and South America from July last year to March this year. Super Junior added a new composition and selection to the new subtitle, "Road_Show."

Ex-Super Junior Kangin Attends Group's Concert – Here's Why ELFs Are Heartbroken

During the 2-day con, various colleagues and close friends of Super Junior attended and supported them. Among them is Zhoumi (guest artist) as well as wave to earth Dongkyu, John, Daniel and SHINee Minho.

In fact, during the ment, the members even introduced their younger brother Minho to the crowd, showing off their closeness.

After the concert, videos and photos of Minho attending the event spread online and while it was supposed to be a wholesome interaction between SHINee X Super Junior, ELFs (the latter's fandom) became emotional after noticing THIS in Minho's proof of attendance.

In the clips and snaps taken by fans, people found out that Kangin, a former Super Junior is sitting beside Minho during the concert!

Unfortunately, Kangin wasn't introduced by the members and he was also cut in the big screen.

But this is not the scene that broke the heart of fans but when Kangin himself tried to catch less attention by turning off his Super Junior lightstick and wearing his hoodie to hide his face. It was noticeable how the former idol also slightly crouched his back, seemingly ashamed to be seen by other fans.

ELFs were particularly heartbroken that Kangin has to do all of these in order to avoid creating misunderstandings that will potentially harm Super Junior.

As a brief context, Kangin's departure isn't exactly a good memory to fans as the idol was embroiled in various scandals before that which affected the group's image.

Kangin not had only two assault controversies but multiple DUI and hit-and-run cases as well. Initially, some fans were defending him, but after repeat offenses, part of the fandom turned their backs on him which also led to his withdrawal from the group.

On the flip side, fans were warmed by the sight of how Super Junior and Kangin protected each other in their own ways; by not introducing Kangin and by hiding from fans.
