On May 11, a five-minute highlight video for tvN's new entertainment program, "Dancing Queens on the Road," starring singers Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyori, BoA and MAMAMOO Hwasa.

In particular, the program, together with the cast aim to showcase culture, meet friends and have fun as they conduct a nationwide concert tour in South Korea. They will perform not only in festivals but in Taekwondo competitions and schools as well.

In the video then, the members hinted at their performance at a Zumba Festival where they were seen having fun along with Korean citizens.

But among them, Hwasa especially stood out best after her wholesome interaction with her fans. In the video, the female idol was seen wearing low-rise pants and having fun with their supporters when she suddenly approached them and offered fan service by twerking cutely while she was close to the audience.

However, it seems like she didn't expect them to touch and tap her butt, immediately getting away from them flustered and laughing as she covered her mouth.

Just watching this part, netizens expressed their worries and left comments such as:

  • "Isn't that crossing over the line?"
  • "I can see that she's embarrassed when they touch her butt."
  • "It could be seen as sexual harassment,"
  •  "I hope she didn't get hurt."

According to netizens, if this happened to them, they will feel uncomfortable and reprimand the audience to maintain a certain distance.

However, Hwasa revealed her true personality with how she handled the situation.

While she was flustered, she looked at the audience and gave them a pleasant smile. Instead of being uncomfortable, she went with the flow and enjoyed the happy atmosphere by twerking again and letting the audience tap her buttocks.

Upon seeing the video, a lot of netizens praised MAMAMOO Hwasa for showing her genuine personality. Other fans were proud of its fandom MOOMOOs as well, which was one of the reasons why the female idol showed trust and comfort to people even in such proximity.

Due to the trust between them, it seems like Hwasa was confident that fans won't hurt her and will not cross the line between fans and idols so it's okay to get closer to them.

Meanwhile, tvN's "Dancing Queens on the Road," where all the female dance singers are gathered to create expectations, will premiere at 10:30 p.m. KST on May 25th.
