On May 18, it was reported that Lee Chaeyeon and Haein would be stepping down from "Queendom Puzzle."
According to sources, Chaeyeon and Haein decided to part ways with the show after its first recording. It also stated their recorded footage will still be broadcasted on the program's airing, and that no further casting will be conducted.
Mnet has responded to the reports, confirming the withdrawal of the two idols. It also added that Chaeyeon and Haein have left due to personal reasons. Moreover, it also made its stand regarding additional members.
"Lee Chaeyeon and Haein have stepped down from 'Queendom Puzzle' for personal reasons. Nothing has been decided yet regarding the upcoming program's additional participants."
Previously on April 24, an Mnet official confirmed the final lineup for "Queendom Puzzle." This lineup is comprised of idols such as Lee Chaeyeon, Haein, Former CLC Yeeun, Former MOMOLAND JooE, Lovelyz Kei, H1-KEY Riina and Hwiseo, Weeekly members, and former "Produce 48" contestant Shiroma Miru.

"Queendom Puzzle" is a spin-off of Mnet's original "Queendom" program, where idols will compete to create the next global project girl group. This will be formed by volunteering female artists on the show, who will be pieced together like a puzzle.
Furthermore, the program will be hosted by SNSD Taeyeon, who will return as the MC.
