During the 29th Dream Concert, NMIXX Jiwoo was "fat-shamed" by Koreans for her recent appearance.

NMIXX Attends 29th Dream Concert, Jiwoo Criticized for Apparent Weight Gain

On May 27, the 29th Dream Concert successfully wrapped up the spectacular festival. Co-hosted by the Korean Entertainment Producers Association and the Korea Tourism Organization, the annual event was held at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium.

The venue was filled with 31,000 spectators, who gave their enthusiastic support to the 19 artists, including Kim Jae Hwan, Dreamcatcher, EVERGLOW, NMIXX, Oh My Girl, ONEUS, ITZY, JO1, TEMPEST, Golden Child, and more.

Thanks to this, "Dream Concert" marked a beautiful finale as the closing performance of the "World Climate Industry Expo 2023."

As various K-pop fandoms expressed their delight with the event attended by numerous idols, who showed their impeccable skills, NMIXX also gained attention for their visuals and performance.

NSWERs (NMIXX fandom) praised the team for their impressive stage and beauty, but some Koreans raised their brows against a certain member.

The member in question was NMIXX Jiwoo, who then suffered fat-shaming from several attendees.

In the popular online community Pann, Jiwoo's name trended, as she was being criticized her for her apparent weight gain anew after her recent successful weight loss.

Korean fans went on by body-shaming the young idol for wearing crop tops, which exposed her belly. According to them, Jiwoo shouldn't wear such clothing since it would just end up being compared to other members with small, ant waists.

They also claimed that Jiwoo is also "too fat" to be an idol, and commented she would be "prettier" if she lost weight.

As soon as Jiwoo's recent appearance became a hot discussion in online communities and SNS, NSWERs immediately came to her defense.

The fandom called out people for not minding their own business and not being able to stop themselves from commenting on other people's bodies.
