On June 6, EXO Lay's fandom XBACKs have vented their thoughts online regarding Lay Zhang Studio's poor performance in terms of expansion, work ethics, and attitude towards fans.
According to sources, concerns were raised in Chinese platform Weibo, where XBACKs mentioned the staff's working attitude and claimed that they blocked Lay's resources.
On their statement, fans wished the studio to improve, as they have continuously sent feedback to the management but claimed they have failed to produce improved results.
XBACKs on Weibo also mentioned that Lay Zhang Studio has concealed many opportunities from TV stations, media, and business sources, failing to expand its exposure.
Their statement wrote:
"As a fansite for Zhang Yixing, we, like all fans, hopefully wish that Zhang Yixing will improve. Over the past few years, feedback has been sent to Lay Zhang Studio to provide resolutions to certain issues and team problems."
"However, the staff didn't oversee any substantive processing results after each response of being "in discussion" or "being processed." There was no improvement to be seen, as we only saw disappointment."
"We hoped that the studio can maintain a professional attitude, in order to follow the footsteps of Yixing, and accompany him in the future."

Fans have flooded criticism on Lay Zhang Studio's account in Weibo. On Twitter, international XBACKs also aired out their thoughts on the matter.
