On June 8, "Primavera Sound Madrid" announced that the performances for June 8, Thursday will be cancelled because of the "adverse weather forecast."
In their statement, it was forecasted that heavy storms would be closing in during the afternoon of June 8. With the coordination of the local police authorities, technical reports, and city council, the June 8 event as ultimately cancelled to ensure the safety of audiences and artists.
However, the music festival will still continue on June 9, Friday, and June 10, Saturday. It also stated that further updates will be provided through their official social media accounts and channels. Moreover, the festival apologized for the sudden inconvenience.

As for the ticket operations, the "Day" tickets for June 8 would still be valid for June 9 and June 10 without additional processes. Unused "Day" tickets would also be refunded immediately.

"The Primavera Sound Madrid even for June 8 (Thursday) in the Ciudad del Rock of Arganda del Ray will be cancelled due to the constant harsh weather conditions that have affected the festival's pre-production.
In view of the adverse weather forecast, heavy storms are expected to drop on the afternoon of June 8. The arrangement of cancellation was made possible in coordination with the city council, Arganda del Ray's local police force, and recommendations from technical reports. The activity in the Cívitas Metropolitano would also be cancelled as well.
Regarding the Auditorio Primavera (The Music Station) day programme for the day, the event will be maintained. Primavera Sound Madrid will still open its doors on June 9 (Friday) and June 10 (Saturday).
The opening day this evening in Cívitas Metropolitano will still proceed, but due to the rainfall, the door opening has been delayed and eventually La Paloma has not been able to proceed. The rest of the concert schedules are still on hold.

Ticket operations
