Stray Kids' Album '5-STAR' Attains Highest 1st-Week Sales in Hanteo, Surpasses THIS 3rd-Gen K-pop Group

Stray Kids have reached another milestone in their career with third full-length album "★★★★★ (5-STAR)." They have also surpassed THIS third-gen K-pop group.

Stray Kids' Album '★★★★★ (5-STAR)' Sets New Record For Highest 1st-Week Sales in Hanteo, Surpasses SEVENTEEN's 'FML'

Stray Kids have once again proven their power in album sales!

On June 9, Hanteo Chart officially unveiled that Stray Kids' third full-length album "★★★★★ (5-STAR)" has set a new record in terms of first-weeks sales, creating Hanteo history.

According to Hanteo, "★★★★★ (5-STAR)" sold an overwhelming 4,617,499 album copies on its first week, covering from June 2 to June 8.

This achievement also doubled their previous first-week sales record with MAXIDENT, their mini album that sold 2,163,349 copies.

With this accomplishment, Stray Kids have also surpassed K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN, who held the previous record of the highest first-week sales record with "FML." The 10th mini album managed to garner a total of 4,550,214 sales from April 24 to 30.

On May 30, Stray Kids also made history with album "★★★★★ (5-STAR)," which became the most pre-ordered K-pop album ever. Stray Kids didn't just set a new record for their flourishing career, but also for having the most pre-orders among all K-pop artists.

Stray Kids have also surpassed SEVENTEEN on their pre-orders. "FML" set a record of 4.64 million pre-orders, marking their new record in Hanteo history.

Circle Includes Stray Kids in Weekly & Monthly Charts

On June 9, Circle has officially announced their newest monthly and weekly chart rankings. The categories include monthly and weekly charts on physical album, digital, streaming, global K-pop, download, and social.

Stray Kids achieved a double crown for the weekly charts after dominating both the physical album chart and the digital download chart with album "★★★★★ (5-STAR)," along with its title track "S-Class."

Other artists who were included in the rankings were aespa, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, SEVENTEEN, CIX, (G)I-DLE, BOYNEXTDOOR, BLACKPINK Jisoo, FIFTY FIFTY, Lim Young Woong, Young Tak, BTS, and Choi Yu Ree.

Stray Kids Releases 'S-Class' Music Video, STAYs Thrilled Over Chaotic Track

On June 3, Stray Kids officially dropped their highly anticipated MV for "S-Class." As of June 9, the music video currently garners a total of 44,542,775 views on YouTube.

 

The members showcased their amazing talents in terms of vocals, rap, and dancing. "S-Class" also exhibits elements of boom bap, pop, and old school genres, demonstrating Stray Kids' creativity and artistry.
