On June 19, Baekhyun personally messaged fans through DearU Bubble app, expressing his gratitude.
Baekhyun also voiced out his regret for all that has happened between EXO-CBX and SM Entertainment. He also reassured fans that at the end of the day, he's still the same person despite many obstacles that him, the group, and fans have encountered.
The idol stated, "Thank you for believing in me. I'm sorry for making it dizzy and difficult for all of you. I am still Baekhyun."
Earlier on the same day (June 19), SM Entertainment announced an update regarding the legal battle between the agency and EXO-CBX. The lawsuit battle was initiated due to unreasonable profit distribution and contract extensions, which led to disputes between the two parties.
Ultimately, SM revealed that a mutual agreement was made to resolve the conflict. The agency addressed the ongoing clash, and sincerely apologized for causing trouble to everyone, especially to those who support EXO.

SM also stated the agency and artists managed to discuss the matter thoroughly, leading to the agreement which both parties agreed upon. They stated EXO-CBX members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin will stay with the agency and proceed with their activities.
SM Entertainment remarked that all heeds from the artists were noticed, forming proper communication between them. The agency decided to hold equal modifications and consultations to improve their relationship with CBX.
Furthermore, SM also assured that EXO-CBX will have the agency's unwavering support for them to flourish in the music industry, their solo activities, and other endeavors.
"In response, we and the three artists promised to conduct equal consultations and modifications and to further strengthen our relationship in the future."
In a forum, Eris expressed their true feelings regarding the situation. It caught mixed reactions from netizens because of how the artists still suffered from the unfortunate circumstances, while others were just relieved that both parties had resolved the case.
