On June 30, Korean news outlet Sports Seoul reported that MAMAMOO's maknae Hwasa is currently dating an entrepreneur, who is 12 years older than her.
According to sources, Hwasa and the businessman in question have been dating for the past five years. It also stated that Hwasa was also the one who first engaged the romantic relationship with the alleged boyfriend, who's referred to as "A."
An insider claimed that initially, A wasn't able to accept romantic approaches since Hwasa was 12 years younger than him, and a popular artist who was well-recognized in the public.
Regarding A's background, the insider stated that he was born in 1983, and runs a business on his own. It also claimed that A and Hwasa started dating during the former's time in the music industry.
