TWICE MISAMO Dominates on iTunes Worldwide, Oricon Album Chart With 1st Mini Album 'Masterpiece'

TWICE MISAMO is continuing their impact across the music industry!

On iTunes, MISAMO's debut mini album "Masterpiece" has claimed top spots on various countries around the world. MISAMO debuted on July 26 with "Masterpiece," and on its first day, the mini album immediately hit the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Albums chart.

"Masterpiece" made its supremacy across at least 22 different countries including Japan, Singapore, Turkey, and many more. Apart from iTunes, "Masterpiece" also claimed the No. 1 spot on Japan's Line Music, specifically on its real-time album chart.

Outside of iTunes, MISAMO made headlines on Oricon. The trio grabbed the No. 1 position on its daily album chart with "Masterpiece," which dated on July 25. The album has ruled over its rankings for five consecutive days.

"Masterpiece" dropped on July 26, while its title track "Do not touch" was released on July 14. Apart from its title track, the album also contains six other songs such as pre-release track "Marshmallow," B-sides "Behind The Curtain," "Funny Valentine," "It's Not Easy For You," "Rewind You," and "Bouquet."

TWICE MISAMO is composed of the group's Japanese members: Mina, Sana, and Momo. The trio is also one of the most highly anticipated acts of 2023, and has been the subject of discussion across online forums since they are the group's first-ever sub-unit.

Aside from releasing a new sub-unit consisting of the J-Line, TWICE will also have leader Jihyo going for her solo career.

On August 18, at 1 p.m. KST, Jihyo will be releasing her debut solo mini album "ZONE" and will be the second TWICE member to make an official solo debut.
