8+ K-pop Groups Dominating August 2023 Brand Rankings — Who Made Most Buzz?
For the month of August, the Korean Business Research Institute has officially announced their newest brand reputation rankings for all K-pop idol groups.
The graph is composed of rankings, which were analyzed through numerous factors such as their coverage with the media, the participation of consumers, and overall exposure that can lead to virality. These results were gathered from July 15 to August 15.
Here are the 10 most popular K-pop idol groups in August 2023!
1. NewJeans
NewJeans closed down the No. 1 position for August 2023, since they achieved a 67.47 percent score increase and led to a brand reputation index of 10,001,027. The group also managed to attain 91.89 percent positive reactions for their positivity-negativity analysis.
2. BTS
On second place, BTS claimed the list's No. 2 spot with a brand reputation index of 6,497,937.
3. IVE
IVE placed in the No. 3 spot with a brand reputation index of 4,895,215. This is also due to a 22.91 percent score increase, highlighting their everlasting popularity in the K-pop industry.
4. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN joined in the August 2023 list with a score rise of 28.32 percent, which earned them a brand reputation index of 4,522,941.
5. ZEROBASEONE
ZEROBASEONE, Mnet's newest project boy group formed on survival show "Boys Planet," completed the list's top five with a brand reputation index of 3,563,668.
6. BLACKPINK
Meanwhile, the list was continued by BLACKPINK, who achieved a total score of 3,424,907 for August 2023 idol group rankings.
7. NCT
NCT arrived on the seventh place, where they earned a brand reputation index of 3,058,805.
8. LE SSERAFIM
With a brand reputation index of 3,057,470, LE SSERAFIM stood out in the No. 8 position for August 2023. The group has also gained everyone's attention with their first-ever world tour "Flame Rises."
9. (G)I-DLE
(G)I-DLE made it on No. 9 with a brand reputation index of 2,958,303.
10. EXO
Last but not the least, EXO rounded the top 10 with an index of 2,878,475.
