TXT to Perform New Single at 2023 MTV Video Music Awards + Collab Performance With Anitta

MOAs better prepare for TXT's stages at the 2023 MTV VMAs!

On August 31, local time, MTV officially announced the lineup of performer at the upcoming 2023 Video Music Awards. This star-studded list consist of TXT, Anitta, Kelsea Ballerini, Doja Cat, and Lil Wayne.

Earlier on August 22, local time, MTV revealed that Stray Kids will perform on stage. It will also include artists Demi Lovato, Karol G, and Måneskin. Apart from the performance lineup, groups aespa, BLACKPINK, FIFTY FIFTY, SEVENTEEN, and TXT were also nominated.

At the event, it was reported that TXT would be premiering their pre-release single, alongside a special collaboration stage with singer Anitta. According to MTV, this merge will make TXT the first K-pop band to "perform a genre-blending collaboration" on the show.

Since TXT has come a long way from their debut by dominating overseas, their fanbase has grown exponentially and earned them immense recognition. This led TXT to be nominated for two awards at the 2023 MTV VMAs, which are Push Performance of the Year and Best K-pop.

Regarding their song premiere at the event, the track will be from their upcoming third full-length album "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL."

Moreover, the 2023 MTV VMAs will be broadcasted on September 12, at 8 p.m. ET.

In other news, TXT has teased fans with an eccentric teaser for their highly anticipated third full album "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL" on August 29. The album is slated for October 13, at 1 p.m., KST and the pre-orders have started on August 30.
