8+ Buzzworthy K-pop Boy Groups in September 2023 — Who's Most Popular?

September is still ongoing, and many K-pop groups have made their marks with their music releases, variety show appearances, concerts, and many more.

To measure their buzz, the Korean Business Research Institute has officially announced their newest brand reputation rankings involving K-pop boy groups. Results were derived from numerous factors such as media coverage and participation of consumers.

According to the chart, the institute covered data from August 9 to September 9.

Here are the 10 most buzzworthy K-pop boy groups in September 2023!

1. BTS

BTS made it on the list's No. 1, where they placed with a brand reputation index of 7,785,449 and an 18.97 percent score increase for the month of September. They have also garnered 93.04 percent positive reactions for their positivity-negativity analysis.

Despite not releasing a group comeback for 2023's second quarter, the boys still gained traction in their individual schedules. These activities include promoting their solo debuts while maintaining their love for ARMYs through consistent interaction on social media.

2. SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN landed in second place with a brand reputation index of 5,355,287, due to an 8.30 percent score rise. The group has also been active in their content, music, and engagement with CARATs.

3. NCT

NCT made it to No. 3 after earning a brand reputation index of 4,041,162 and a 76.15 percent score rise.

4. EXO

EXO claimed fourth place after receiving a brand reputation index of 3,578,589.

5. THE BOYZ

In fifth place, THE BOYZ completed the top five with a 41.63 percent score increase and a brand reputation index of 3,224,010.

6. INFINITE

INFINITE continued the list by placing at No. 6 with a brand reputation index of 2,457,559.

7. ZEROBASEONE

ZEROBASEONE made it to No. 7 after seeing a brand reputation index of 2,302,163. They are also steadily gaining popularity for their promotions as Mnet's newest project boy group.

8. Stray Kids

Stray Kids made it to eighth place with a brand reputation index of 2,023,130. The group also continued to go viral for their win at the 2023 MTV Music Video Awards for "Best K-pop."

9. Super Junior

Super Junior claimed No. 9 with a brand reputation index of 1,569,456 for September.

10. MONSTA X

Last but not least, MONSTA X rounded up the top 10 for September 2023 with a brand reputation index of 1,532,870.
