The label also attested:

"New Way Company will do its best to support multi-talented Kriesha to fully demonstrate her capabilities in various areas."

Through this, it is expected that the idol will not only be seen in the music scene but will also continue to challenge other fields such as acting, modeling, broadcasting and more.

Lastly, rather than Kriesha Chu, the company also emphasized the star's new start by using only "Kriesha" as her stage name.

We are truly all excited to see Kriesha back as a singer!

Reason Kriesha 'Vanished' from K-pop Scene for 3 Years

Meanwhile, for those who don't know Kriesha, she initially made her name after finishing second place on SBS's "K-pop Star 6" in 2017.

She was then signed by Urban Works Entertainment and debuted as a soloist in the same year.

With her unique appealing tone and high-quality vocal skills, she continued to be active not only in Korea but also in the Philippines.

She established her own spectrum by proving her presence as a Filipina idol among the pool of Korean stars in various fields, such as entertainment, acting, as well as music activities.

She was supposed to expand her career in China due to growing popularity until in mid-2020, but she was embroiled in plastic surgery rumors due to her swollen face.

Urban Works at the time immediately denied it and revealed that Kriesha was actually suffering from stress-induced lymphedema, which caused her swollen face. Her weight gain was also caused by her taking medications for her illness every day.

Since then, Kriesha Chu slowly "vanished," and the last straw was when Urban Works deleted her profile on the company's website in July 2022, fans pointing out that she already left the company.

On the other hand, attention is focused on what kind of performance Kriesha, who joined hands with New Way Company, will catch the public's attention.
