TEMPEST Hwarang Cancels Activities Due to Upcoming Surgery for Injured Shoulder

The "Dangerous" singer will be sitting out his official schedules.

On October 19, TEMPEST's agency Yuehua Entertainment shared an announcement declaring Hwarang's medical surgery for his injured shoulder.

The agency clarified that while Hwarang will still attend the group's upcoming fansign event on October 22, the idol would then pause his schedules after the event to focus on recovery. These schedules also include TEMPEST's activities in Japan.

Yuehua Entertainment followed up that once Hwarang is in good condition and can return to the group, the agency will update fans with an announcement. Furthermore, they apologized for causing concern and assured everyone that Hwarang's health would be prioritized.

"Hello. This is Yuehua Entertainment.

We are here to inform you regarding Hwarang's future plans.

As his doctor has advised, it was concluded that Hwarang required surgery for his shoulder injury, and with this, he aims to concentrate on his recovery while undergoing the procedure and other essential treatment.

Since Hwarang has wished to meet his fans, we chose to respect his decision, and he will attend the October 22 fan signing event. However, after the event, Hwarang will be unable to participate in future schedules and activities, including the Japanese release events.

We will update everyone through an announcement soon once Hwarang is in good condition and is able to return to his activities. We send our deepest apologies for worrying fans who support our artist TEMPEST, and we will do our best for Hwarang's recovery.
