In GOT7 BamBam's YouTube channel, former Wonder Girls Sunmi dissed JYP Entertainment after the male idol shared why he joined their current agency, ABYSS.

BamBam Reveals He Has No Regret Joining ABYSS Thanks to Sunmi, Female Icon Dissed JYP

On October 20, Sunmi, the former Wonder Girls-turned-soloist appeared as the guest on the latest episode of GOT7 BamBam's YouTube channel show, "Bam House 2."

During the show, the two artists talked about their relationship as senior-junior and friendship that started when they were still in JYP Entertainment until they both transferred to their current company, ABYSS.

While on the topic, BamBam expressed his grateful heart by citing Sunmi as one of the reasons he transferred to the agency after leaving JYP.

He narrated:

"Noona (Sunmi) is ABYSS's 'lake.' She made our company big. I wouldn't have joined the company if it wasn't for my older sister.

At the time, I contacted her for the first time and asked, 'I got a call from ABYSS. Is it a company that I could trust?' Sunmi noona told me well about it."

Sunmi then asked:

"But you don't regret it, do you?"

BamBam immediately denied it and replied:

"I don’t regret it. In fact, the system is rather more established now, so it’s much easier to work.”

Hearing this, Sunmi subtly dissed JYP Entertainment, their former agency, and said:

"Just because it is a big company doesn't mean the system is in place."

BamBam pushed Sunmi by saying:

"It sounded like a bit of a diss."

Sunmi hilariously agreed:

"It is a diss."

GOT7 BamBam Expresses Desire to Get Closer to Sunmi

Although they've known each other for more than a decade being in the same agencies, Sunmi and BamBam implied that they are more like strangers for rarely contacting each other, aside from when they are celebrating their birthdays.

BamBam apologized for having more than 200 messages on Kakaotalk and not being able to read her message, but Sunmi drew laughter by confessing that she was not really contacting him.

Now that they are continuing their senior-junior friendship under ABYSS, BamBam made the first step so that he could be closer to his older sister and revealed:

"Sometimes, I want to ask my noona, 'Do you want to have a drink?' I want to do this, but I just don't know to bring it up."

Sunmi also shared her desire to get to know each other and replied:

"What should I do in this situation... I think we should have time in ABYSS to get together and get to know each other. BamBam will lead the process. BamBam is ABYSS's King."
