In an interview with Weverse magazine, Soobin shared his true feelings about TXT's newest title track and his resolve towards his goals.

TXT Soobin Reveals Mixed Thoughts on Group's Title Track 'Chasing That Feeling'
On October 23, Soobin sat down with Weverse magazine for an exclusive interview.
MOAs (TXT's fandom) were thrilled to receive TXT's newest comeback album "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL" and title track "Chasing That Feeling," which were both released on October 13. The magazine then delved into Soobin's thoughts about the release.
Weverse then asked Soobin how excited he was for TXT's new album. Soobin responded by elaborating the album's meaning, followed by his worries regarding the last album due to nervousness.
However, FREEFALL's songs were considered by Soobin as "easy-listening," which drew a refreshing change for TXT, both musically and performance-wise.
"It's all about embracing and pushing through the pain and difficult times you encounter in the real world, so it was an idea I can grasp and express well."
"On our last album, I was actually nervous I wouldn't be able to pull off the album's concept successfully, so that's why I didn't feel confident."
"But now, the songs are a little bit more of an 'easy listening' experience this time, and the choreography's fun too, so I'm feeling more confident this time."

Soobin then shared that he initially had mixed feelings with the song, since he first thought "Chasing That Feeling" was "basic." However, the idol managed to love the song afterwards after listening to it several times, and realizing how catchy it was.
"At first, I thought the single 'Chasing That Feeling' was basic, but I realized how catchy it sounded after listening to it four or five times."
"I started humming it to myself later on, and it felt like a song you'd never want to skip over, a song you can keep on repeat."

In another question, Weverse asked Soobin about his willingness to pursue goals in the music industry despite obstacles. Here's what he said:
"It can vary for everyone in this field, but I think I'm really happy with my work, way more than it brings me hardship. I'm not one to dwell on something painful for too long."
"Gaining this much love and support, it's not easy. The happiness it brings is too important for me to let go, and I won't do so just because the road gets tough. It's the kind of joy that's worth sticking with no matter the obstacles I have to experience."
