IVE Leeseo Attests to DIVEs She's 'Okay' After Experiencing 'Harassment' in School
On October 24, an X post became a hot topic among netizens and K-pop fans, especially DIVEs (IVE fandom), after the OP shared a video of IVE Leeseo addressing the issue that she was bullied.
In a conversation between the IVE youngest member and the international fan, the latter brought up the controversy and expressed how hurt she was to know she was harassed in school.

However, without saying much about this concern, Leeseo put everyone's concerns to rest by attesting to fans that everything's in control.
"It's okay, it's really okay. I'm okay. Thank you."
The fan continued to check on her and pointed out how her heart hurt so much for the idol because she treasured her that much.

Leeseo, while waving her hand continued to console the fan, saying:
"Because I know that you have always liked me, I'm really okay. So don't you worry."
Although it wasn't clear whether she denied or confirmed that she was harassed in school, DIVEs felt assured that Leeseo herself said she's doing well.
On the flip side, the fan who brought up the topic, unfortunately, received backlash for mentioning it to Leeseo directly, stating that it must already be hard for the idol and she might not want to hear about it.

- "I don't think it's necessary to talk about this directly with an idol."
- "I'm so mad."
- "I feel like stuff like this could easily upset the bullies and put Leeseo in a bad spot if she says the wrong thing."
IVE Leeseo Bullying Victim Concerns
Meanwhile, the concern was raised by DIVEs earlier on October 16, when a video of the idol signing her autograph to fill a whole notebook was shared online.
The incident happened in Hanlim Arts School and the harassment speculation arose when a clip where Leeseo was "forced" to wake up by her classmates during her nap to sign their notebooks multiple times.
Looking at at this, the situation is understandable since Leeseo is a huge star and anyone would have taken the chance to get her signature.
However, fans who saw the clip were rather "disturbed" and felt "discomfort" thinking that the situation could have turned bad if the young idol refused to sign the multiple notebook pages in front of her. DIVEs think that her classmates are taking advantage of Leeseo's kindness.
When this concern sparked DIVEs were quick to call out her agency Starship Entertainment and asked to increase her security for her safety.
