Rocky's History with ASTRO, Departure, More!

Park Min Hyuk, also widely known as Rocky, is a former member of ASTRO.

In 2010, Rocky made it on the audition round for South Korea's adaptation of musical "Billy Elliot" and in the same year, he ended up on Fantagio to become a trainee.

Rocky made his debut as a member of ASTRO on February 23, 2016. Apart from his association with the group, Rocky has also appeared in numerous dance programs, since he's known for his incredible talent in dancing.

Since then, ASTRO established themselves as one of the best third-gen K-pop groups. The six-membered act has released numerous hits such as "Hide & Seek," "Breathless," "Confession," "Again," "Baby," "Crazy Sexy Cool," "Candy Sugar Pop," and many more.

Rocky has also debuted together with leader JinJin in a duo sub-unit. ASTRO JinJin & Rocky made their debut on January 17, 2022, with their first mini album "Restore" and title track "Just Breath." However, the duo would then inevitably disband after Rocky departed from ASTRO.

On February 28, agency Fantagio officially announced that Rocky would be parting from the group and the company after his exclusive contract had expired. The decision was ultimately made after a discussion with Rocky.

"Rocky has been an ASTRO member with our agency for the past seven years, and he will now end his chapter with the group and Fantagio."

After he left ASTRO and Fantagio, there was a period of silence regarding the idol. However, on April 19, his former bandmate Moonbin sadly passed away, causing fans, loved ones, and all ASTRO members including Rocky to undergo mourning.

On May 31, fans spotted heartwarming pictures of the ASTRO members taking care of Moonbin's younger sister Billlie Moon Sua. The photos featured Sua, Cha Eun Woo, Sanha, and Rocky enjoying their time together at a theatre to watch JinJin's musical performance.

Where is Rocky Now? Here's What We Know

On October 26, Rocky has reportedly established his own agency and will be making his debut in November with a solo album. According to sources, the company is named One Fine Day Entertainment.
