PENTAGON Hongseok Discusses Contract with New Agency

The idol will now be making his new start!

On November 14, Korean news outlets shared that Hongseok is now reportedly in talks with agency ANDMARKQ regarding an exclusive contract.

 A representative from the agency added, "Currently, the exclusive contract is now being discussed with Hongseok."

Earlier on November 6, Cube Entertainment officially announced that Hongseok would now be leaving the company. According to their statement, Hongseok's exclusive contract has been terminated, and the final decision was concluded from a mutual agreement.

"We are informing everyone of PENTAGON member Hongseok's exclusive contract termination with Cube Entertainment. The company and Hongseok engaged In an in-depth discussion regarding his activities, and as a result, his contract was ended after a mutual decision."

Moreover, Cube followed up their appreciation for Hongseok and even wished him the best for his new journey in the music industry.

"We are sending our sincerest thanks to Hongseok for debuting as a PENTAGON member under Cube Entertainment. We will anticipate and support Hongseok In his new chapter."

On his official Instagram account, Hongseok expressed his gratitude to Cube Entertainment, PENTAGON, and fans. The idol also assured everyone that he was going to do more in the future.

"2015~2023. It's been nine years since I've worked together with Cube Entertainment. Thanks to them, I got the chance to gain new brothers in a team called PENTAGON. Moreover, this is one of the happiest times since meeting UNIVERSE. I will move forward by impressing everyone and I'm always grateful. Special thanks to CUBE Ent., PENTAGON, and UNIVERSE."

Upon learning of his departure from Cube Entertainment, fans were more than happy to receive the news, as they claimed that Hongseok would finally be free from the agency.
