Red Velvet Earns Favorable Reviews for 'Killing Voice' Performance
Red Velvet is not "Vocal Queen" for nothing!
On November 14, the official YouTube channel of Dingo Music unveiled the new episode of "Killing Voice" featuring Red Velvet!
To commemorate the release of their third full-length album, "Chill Kill," on November 13, the quintet revisited their past hits and performed a 2023 live version of each song.

In the video released that day, Red Velvet members opened the "Killing Voice" by singing their debut song, "Happiness," released in 2014.
During the performance, Wendy perfectly slayed the song's killing part by effortlessly reaching the high notes of the line, "Shine on me (Let it shine on me)."
The other members including Seulgi, Joy, Irene and Yeri also showed their vocal prowess by flaunting an impressive medley of songs, such as "Dumb Dumb," "Ice Cream Cake," "Russian Roulette" Zimzalabim," Carpool," "Queendom," "Red Flavor," "Peek-a-boo," "Bad Boy," "Pyscho," and many more, which ran for more than 30 minutes.
Upon its release, it surpassed 2.1 million views, and enthusiastic responses are pouring in from internet users and K-pop fans, especially from ReVeluvs (fandom).

Despite this, there are strong opinions claiming that Irene still lacks in the area of singing, compared to Wendy, Seulgi and Joy.
But following her performance for "Killing Voice," Irene erased doubts about her vocal skills and stood out for her pretty voice that can reach even the high notes.
