'War of Nerves'? aespa Giselle Explains 'Hair Fixing Fight' Meme With Karina
On November 23, aespa appeared as a guest on the YouTube web show, "MMTG." The members Karina, Giselle, Winter, and NingNing met MC JaeJae and dished on various topics.
There, they brought back the legendary meme created after Giselle and Karina's alleged "hair-fixing fight" in June 2021.
At the time, a famous GIF circulated on various online communities and SNS among K-pop fans, wherein Karina was fixing Giselle's hair and putting it at her back. However, the latter immediately brought back her hair in the front and arranged it.
When this footage circulated, it initially sparked speculation that the two were fighting.

However, these claims died out when the two once again appeared in a radio broadcast four months after the incident.
During the advertising break session, Giselle tried to fix Karina's hair and as if something came to mind, the former said something to the latter and ended up bursting with laughter.
Giselle continued fixing Karina's hair, while the leader would repeatedly pull it back in front, hinting that they were aware of the issue and weren't affected by it.
During "MMTG" then, Giselle spoke about it for the first time and explained what really happened two years ago.
"We were doing a live broadcast, and the prompter said 'Giselle fix (your) hair' but Karina tidied up my hair first. But since the problem was with the other half of my hair, I organized it naturally. However, it came out as if I was saying, 'Don't touch my hair.' It was really funny at the time."
Apparently, there were strands of hair that blocked Giselle's mic so the PD advised her to fix her hair. Karina who saw the prompter tried to help her co-member, but fixed the wrong side, Giselle did it herself then and put the other side in front without any ill intention.

The "unnie-line" continued to share about their hilarious friendship antics. In fact, it was said that Giselle was the one who taught Karina to ride a bicycle.
Karina then exposed Giselle's temper while teaching her, saying:
"[Giselle] is so frustrated with me. Don't you usually catch them (when teaching to ride a bike) but she said, 'Just get on first."
aespa Releases 4th Mini-Album 'Drama'
Meanwhile, aespa unveiled their fourth mini-album "Drama" on November 10.
Amid their promotions for the new release, they will also drop their own rendition of "Jingle Bell Rock," which comprises an intense 808 bass and witty point instrument sound within a minimal track.
The members' unique rap and vocals are expected to showcase a different hip charm from the original song.
aespa can also be seen in the final episode of "Cruel Audition," a segment of their own content, "Who visits the VILLA?" uploaded on their Youtube channel.
