15+ K-pop Artists Who Snagged Spots on Billboard Japan's 2023 Year-End Hot Albums Chart

Earlier on December 7, Billboard Japan officially announced their annual year-end charts, which comprised of artists around the globe who made their marks this 2023.  

Here are 21 K-pop artists who made it on Billboard Japan's year-end Hot Albums chart!

1.    Stray Kids

On the original Hot Album Chart from Billboard Japan, Stray Kids reigned the list among Korean artists with "Social Path" (feat. LiSA) / Super Bowl - Japanese ver.," which placed on No. 3. The group also claimed No. 6 with their first Japanese studio album "THE SOUND."

2.    SEVENTEEN

In the top 10, SEVENTEEN claimed three spots with albums "FML," "ALWAYS YOURS," and "SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN," which placed on No. 4, No. 5, and No. 7, respectively.

3.    TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT)

In the original list, TXT completed the Top 10 with their second Japanese studio album "SWEET" (No. 10). Moreover, the two spots went to the group's Korean albums "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL" at No. 16, and "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" at No. 22.

4.    BTS Jungkook

On No. 15, Jungkook claimed the place with his first-ever full album "GOLDEN."

5.    TREASURE

TREASURE secured two places in the list, with "REBOOT" ending up on No. 17, and "THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER TWO" on No. 47.

6.    BTS V

V of BTS placed on No. 18 with his debut full album "Layover."

7.    BTS Jimin

Jimin made it on No. 20 with his debut studio album "FACE."

8.    BTS RM

RM managed to secure No. 93 with his debut studio album "Indigo."

9.    TWICE MISAMO

According to Billboard Japan, No. 25 was filled in by TWICE MISAMO, who landed their first mini album "Masterpiece." MISAMO is TWICE's first-ever sub-unit, composed of the group's Japanese members Mina, Sana, and Momo.

10.  ENHYPEN

ENYPEN stole two spots on the list, with "ORANGE BLOOD" at No. 32 and "DARK BLOOD" at No. 35.

11.  IVE

IVE made it on the list's No. 34 with their first Japanese mini album "WAVE."

12.  BTS Suga / Agust D

Suga secured No. 39 with his debut studio album "D-DAY."

13.  NCT 127

NCT 127 occupied No. 40 with their fifth full album "Fact Check" and repackaged album "Ay-Yo" at No. 75.

14.  ATEEZ

ATEEZ claimed No. 42 with "THE WORLD EP. PARADIGM" and No. 56 with "THE WORLD EP. 2: OUTLAW."

15.  NCT

NCT's album "Golden Age" took No. 55 on the list.

16.  NCT DREAM

NCT DREAM made it on No. 36 with third studio album "ISTJ." They also claimed No. 64 with their special winter album "Candy."

17.  RIIZE

RIIZE took No. 68 with "Get A Guitar."

18.  BOYNEXTDOOR

BOYNEXTDOOR placed on No. 98 with 'WHY.."

19.  LE SSERAFIM

LE SSERAFIM claimed the No. 44 spot with their first full album "UNFORGIVEN."

20.  aespa

No. 81 was claimed by aespa's "MY WORLD."

21.  NewJeans

Lastly, we have NewJeans, who secured No. 71 with their second mini album "Get Up."
